When I was younger, older folks would always say “you’re growin’ like a weed!“. And of course I had no idea what that meant. Little did I know that I really was growing fast and that my mom was slowly losing her baby.
Now that I’m a mother, I realize exactly what is meant by that. Time really does fly and you can just blink and its gone. 3 years ago today was the best day of my life- I had my daughter Adeline. I cannot believe that its been that long already.
There were so many little phases in her life that I always wished she would grow out of. We struggle to get them to walk and talk, but there is just nothing like the sweet little innocent baby. But no matter how grown she gets, she’ll always be my little baby girl.
We’re celebrating today with a small party at our house so she can enjoy playing with her little friends. Partay!
