I got the deal at Walgreens today, but I think this may have worked out even better at Rite Aid. They have the same promo of getting the free shave gel when you buy the cartridges, PLUS if you buy $30 worth of select P&G products, they gift you a $10 Rite Aid gift card, AND they have the $5 off of $30 coupon or the $3 off of $15 coupons out there right now, too.

LaVonne,

I think that its really up to the cashier or that store's manager. If you wanted to get technical with them you could explain it to them like this:

Walgreens chose to give you the free shave gel (this is still considered a "purchase")
Then the coupon for the free body wash applies to the cost of the body wash, NOT the shave gel. So the price of the shave gel makes no difference.

And as for the limit- technically they cannot limit you or at least their ad does not state a limit. However, I would not do more than one of these deals in one transaction. Its best to do it this way, as not to confuse the cashiers if you know that I mean. I always do separate ones so that its more clear what I'm doing.

Hope that helps!

i tried a similar transaction a few weeks ago and one of my local Walgreens doesn't except any coupons on anything that the store has already gave you for free..for example using the free body wash coupon on the already free shave gel. why is it that some Walgreens allow it and some dont?
