I had the opportunity 2 weeks ago to talk with a Weight Watchers representative at the Blissdom 2010 Conference. I’ve never been on the Weight Watchers plan or been to any meetings, but I know plenty of people who have and swear by it. I can relate to the weight loss woes and the highs as well as I have lost over 70 pounds in the last 2 years!
Here’s a product that Weight Watchers put out to help with keeping up with your steps AND your Weight Watchers points! This pedometer has it all and will keep you motivated and boost your activity level.

A weight loss tip would be to drink lots of water in between meals, and to keep candy bars out of your house…ask me how I know the last one today!

My weight loss tip would have to be, Logging my food has really made a huge difference for me of course along side regularly working out. I work out 2x a week things at home you don’t have to have equipment or a gym membership to do. Logging my food has helped me to know what is going into my body and just how big a serving size really is. I have lost 12 pounds in the past 2 months. There are many sites online you can go to to log your food but i love the Dailyburn.com the best.

I cut my portions down to say fist size for meat and make sure that I have at least one non carb vegetable. I also do the stairs instead of the elevator at work. Thanks

My weight loss tip is to listen to your body and stop eating when you are satisfied before you get full. I try to stop when I take a breath and have that “oh” feeling.

My weight loss tip:
When planning on heading to a restaurant for dinner, do your homework. Most restaurants now have websites often with nutritional information.
Once you are at the restaurant, stick to what you have already chosen at home and order first so you don’t succumb to peer pressure because others are ordering appetizer’s and entree’s. And order it the way you want it. Grilled, dressing on the side etc. Most restaurants are more than willing to do what you want.
Drink lots of water!
Hmm.. weight loss tip. Set goals and find a motivation partner. Easier to do it when you’re accountable.

So my best weightloss tip is to not keep your favorite junk foods in the house. I don’t mean not eat them just don’t keep them on hand. That way when you get a craving for the foods you will have to go get them. Most of the time the craving will pass. For example, I love ice cream but I don’t keep it at home because I will the whole thing. So if I want icecream I have to go to the local ice cream parlor to get a scoop or two…

My best weight loss tip is to chew gum when craving for a snack. It really works! I tend to eat a lot when I’m bored so instead I’ll grab a piece of gum and go do something and I forget that I’m hungry!

Weightloss tip: Walk rather then drive. If the park is close to you walk to it rather then drive to it…it is crazy how many times I drove to the park when it was not THAT far
I am over 40 and since I started perimenopause in my 30′s I have had a hard time losing weight. My best tip I can give is less sugar, more protein and exercise! This will work for women younger because it will get you into the right habits!
I subscribe!!! Thanks

3) My tip – drink lots of water. This will help with water weight gain, and keep you from eating when you’re not hungry. Plus it really just gives me more energy.
Thanks Amy!!
