Besides donating, sending expired coupons to military families overseas is another great way that us couponers can give back. It doesn’t take much to put them in an envelope and send them to those who can still use them.
Grocery Saving Tips has a great list of addresses as to where to send your expired coupons. This is where I always go to find an address to send out. I assure you that it is worth every cent for the stamp. I have been sent certificates of appreciation from the United States Air Force, just for sending them coupons! But aside from that, I know that I am helping a family overseas save money on groceries just like I do.
So next time, you’re going through your coupons and you find some expired, dont throw them out. Send them to a military family.

Thanks for posting this!
do the families actually use the coupons overseas? I mean, are the items/brands actually available at their markets? My sister-in-law lived in Italy and they had totally different brands over there than here. Just curious…..
Hi Debi! They sure do! A lot of the commissaries have most of the same products that we do from what I have heard.
They are always SO thankful for any coupons that we send their way!
